At long last, we have Cressida Cowell’s How to Train Your Dragon costumes in stock and ready to fly! Let your child join the Isle of Berk and embrace their inner Viking in our officially licensed Hiccup, Astrid and Toothless dragon outfits.

If your child’s preferred method of transport is by umbrella, rather than a dragon, then let us introduce you to our magical new Mary Poppins Returns costume. Fresh from her travels back to Cherry Tree Lane, she’s practically perfect in every way, of course!

Roald Dahl’s legendary characters live on in our fantastic selection of World Book Day character costumes that include firm favourites like Matilda and Charlie Bucket, through to the horrid Mr and Mrs Twit and Miss Trunchbull! Get set to enter a world of pure imagination.

If your child is more of a David Walliams fan, then our growing range of his hilarious characters, from Billionaire Boy with his ‘Ker-Ching’ sound-chipped toilet roll through to Gangsta Granny, complete with a wig and swag bag, is all the choice they need for World Book Day costume fun!

Nursery and Toddler World Book Day Costumes

Everybody loves the classic tale of Peter Rabbit, and last year’s blockbuster movie reinforced the love for this mischievous book character. This year, the wonderful Jemima Puddle-Duck joins Peter in our Beatrix Potter collection. These are great World Book Day costumes for pre-schoolers and younger children who are familiar with the world of Beatrix Potter and her beautifully illustrated picture books.

Fairy Tales and Legendary Characters Costumes

It’s time to fall down the rabbit hole and enter the magical world of Alice in Wonderland. This year we have some stunning kids fairy-tale costumes available, including this Wonderland Bunny costume, complete with a playing card dress and matching patterned tights. Then there’s our eye-catching White Rabbit costume which includes a character headpiece and watch so you won’t be late!

For the more adventurous types, choose from an array of brave medieval knights that fit neatly alongside Tales of King Arthur and Camelot, or perhaps a courageous Robin Hood outfit from Nottingham legend.

Well, it wouldn’t be World Book Day without a few shouts of “Expelliarmus!” and a lightning bolt scar to the forehead. Enter the wizarding world of Harry Potter, either in one of our handy Gryffindor kits complete with a robe, glasses, and wand, or maybe a Fantastic Beasts costume is more in these days. In which case, perhaps a Newt Scamander outfit is more your child’s style.

If your child is a fan of Dodie Smith’s 101 Dalmatians costumes, then we have pretty Dalmatian tutus for the littlies, through to costume tributes to the best villain of them all, Cruella Da Vil. If she doesn’t scare you then nobody will!

We have a huge selection of Marvel comic superheroes and Star Wars has a few books to its name now, so Stormtrooper it is!
