On the 18th March we joined thousands of Wallys braving the snow to help raise over £43,000 for the National Literacy Trust.
Families, runners and book lovers showed their stripes on the chilly day in aid of the National Literacy Trust, an independent charity working to help disadvantaged children read and write.
Participants walked, jogged and ran the 5km and 10km course on Clapham Common, wearing costumes inspired by Martin Handford’s Where’s Wally? books. First to cross the finish line in the 10k race was James Parker with a time of 44.08.8, and Christian Dietmann won the 5k in 24.12.9.
All funds donated go straight to the Literacy Trust so if you would like to donate, or register for next year’s fun run, please click here.
